This site is my personal tribute to Marie de France, the first female French poet who wrote for the Norman-ruled British court in the 12th Century. This site will be the home for personal essays and conference papers that I have written or presented on Marie de France's works. It is also my goal to put up on this site as throrough of a bibliography of print and electronic resources relating to Marie de France as I can.

If you know of any resources that are missing from the bibliography (presently not online yet, hope to have it up soon), I would deeply appreciate your sending me the citation information for the resource to me at editor@mariedefrance.org.
