This site is my personal tribute to Marie de France, the first female French poet who wrote for the Norman-ruled British court in the 12th Century. This site will be the home for personal essays and conference papers that I have written or presented on Marie de France's works. It is also my goal to put up on this site as throrough of a bibliography of print and electronic resources relating to Marie de France as I can.
If you know of any resources that are missing from the bibliography (presently not online yet, hope to have it up soon), I would deeply appreciate your sending me the citation information for the resource to me at editor
mariedefrance.org.
If you have any writings, essays or articles that you own the copyright to that you are willing to share with other Marie de France fans and researchers, and which has not been published online anywhere else (or which the publisher will allow a copy of it to be posted elsewhere), please submit them to editor
mariedefrance.org.
The premier site for Marie de France is found at the
International Marie de France Society Web site
